Protect Your Laptop With The Herschel Supply Co.

Following in the tradition of their classic heritage vibe, the Herschel Supply Co. have just released their debut line of laptop sleeves as part of their Spring 2012 collection.

Available in a great range of colour options, the fleece-lined sleeves are fully protective and come in three different sizes to accommodate 13”, 15” and 17” laptops.

The sleeves are perfect for use with the Herschel backpacks such as the Classic and the Heritage that do not have built in laptop sleeves.

The Pop Quiz is well equipped to handle the kind of stuff you would generally need for for uni/school (hence the name), but you don’t need to be a student to enjoy the benefits this great bag. Travelling a lot this past year, we have found the Pop Quiz to be the perfect travel companion.

The bag has the signature Herschel classic backpack look, however the inside rear wall has a fleece-lined protective compartment that hugs and protects your laptop (up to 15″) when in transit.

The design of the bag is simple and clean on the outside featuring (but not overdoing) faux leather trim, open the bag up and you are met with Herschel’s custom red and white striped fabric which has a cool, old barbershop look to it.

On the front of the bag there are two pockets. The main pocket has a clip that keeps you from losing your keys and USB stick, organiser pockets for your iPhone and and all those other little bits and pieces you need to access semi frequently such as your pens, Moleskine diary etc. The other slimmer pocket has a waterproof zipper and lining, I personally use it to stash my passport and plane tickets.

But it’s the uncomplicated things that Herschel do so well, such as the fleece-lined sunglass pocket tucked neatly out of way near the upper carry handle of the bag. It means that you are never tearing your bag apart looking for your sunnies, and on top of that they don’t get scratched!

AIAIAI Release Capital Headphones

Built purposefully for the modern urbanite on the move, the talented people in the AIAIAI design lab have created the Capital, a new, extremely durable, foldable and flexible headphone that will hold up in all weather, including the snow & rain.

With their latest release, AIAIAI now provide you with the opportunity to listen to your favourite tunes comfortably, in any kind of weather. Being a multi award winning design company also ensures the Capital looks as good as it performs.

Highlights for us include the use of a reinforced fiberglass housing for increased durability, and a lightweight rubber brace for listening comfort and a secure fit.

How do they sound? Well as the headphones are set for an April release we can’t tell you just yet, but what we do know is that Capital features the same audio driver as AIAIAI’s acclaimed TMA-1 studio headphone which is certainly nothing to sneeze at, and with a modest AU$160 rrp, they look set to be a winner.

Incase Audio: Soundesign

Since 1997 Incase have built a solid reputation as an innovative team of creatives that consistently merge innovative functionality with supreme, minimalist design. They are the most creative lifestyle accessory brand in the world, and probably the best.

Their latest venture, aptly named Soundesign, sees the San Francisco based company extend their range of Apple add-on products by entering the exciting world of personal audio.

Incase had a big task on their hands when they decided upon this project. This is a market that already contains a couple of brands that make exceptional sounding audio products, as well as a couple of brands making beautifully designed products.

The problem? In their opinion, nobody was doing both, or doing it well at least.

And then came Incase, again. Problem solved.

They say: The Incase Audio range “fuses custom design, advanced audio engineering and biomechanics together to work as one to achieve maximum performance”.
